Implementation of Evaluation of Kirkpatrick Model in Statistics Course Based on Case Method at the Department of Building Engineering

This study aims to obtain an overview of the implementation Kirkpatrick's evaluation in case-based statistics courses based on Case Method at Department Building Engineering. Case-based lectures train students solve problems field by applying higher-order thinking such as: finding solutions problems, critically, logically, reflectively, metacognitively and creatively. The Kirkpatrick model is carried out through four levels, each level assessed using a different tool. consists 4 namely: reaction, learning, behavior, impact. research method descriptive qualitative research. sample 56 majoring Engineering Engineering, State University Medan. data was collected questionnaire, assessment documentation. questionnaire used has gone reliability testing with Crombach's Alpha. conducted student performance form learning processes behavior change. Documentation obtained resulting lecture products. results showed that course very effective revealing quality learning.
